We have 'CHANCE int' as a condition to make it so certain events only happen some of the time, but could we please have some sort of 'SETCHANCE Int' as an instruction keyword? The idea being, we could have a random number assigned to a flag/variable. That would unlock some real RNG mechanics.

Thanks for your consideration!

So just to make sure I have this right in my head.

The Int parameter would be the user counter number and it would set a random value between 1 and 99 to that counter?

More or less. Ether a random number between 1 and 99 or perhaps it could also take in a range somehow.

I'm just hoping for a way to set a counter to a random number

For example you could setup status events that reroll the number if its over 20 effectively giving a random number between 1 and 20

I think this idea is awesome and has SO MUCH potential. Cool

Especially because you are probably thinking of a different way than I am of using it in a game.

This is definitely going in.

THANK YOU for this great suggestion.

@hilvar that's so awesome that it's going in. I'm looking forward to seeing how you decide to implement it.

Any ETA on the next update?

I'm aiming for mid-January. Worst case scenario end of January. My crate of Red Bull is on its way.
